“When I was growing up my parents gave me constant love and support and one very important gift in life. .
Belief drives you through time of self-doubt. It empowers you to make every single second count. Belief keeps passion alive and ambition burning strong. It can give you the power to do things you just didnt think we’re possible, and the ability to get up every morning and do it all again.”
– Rory McIlroy
This is what we do and what we stand for. It will be at the very core of every project we work with and every programme of change we are part of. The Rory Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust with the ambition to have a positive impact on children’s and their families lives. Our goal is to release funds that seek to advance opportunity and lasting change for children who are suffering from ill health or who are unfairly disadvantaged or vulnerable to lifes circumstances. Our underlying values are ambition, passion and drive. These values lie at the heart of our foundation and will help us instigate real change for children in every country in which we work.

The average age of children diagnosed with cancer is just 6 years old
We believe that every child has the right to the best healthcare that can be provided; that children should be able to look forward to a bright future and feel safe and free from harm in the community they live; and that research can help save and change children's lives.
At the heart of our foundation we have three fundamental themes that form the basis of why we have chosen children as the central focus to everything we do.
We want to invest in bricks and mortar, infrastructure, science and technology to help children and their families.
We aim to work with young people deemed to be at risk in our society. To keep them safe and free from harm in their communities.
We fund the research of projects that are most likely to make a difference to the lives of babies, children and young people.
When Rory was growing up in Northern Ireland, he was lucky to have supportive parents that sacrificed everything to enable him to follow his dreams and play the game he loves. Rory knows that not every child is as fortunate to have that support and opportunity. We believe that every child has the right to the best healthcare that can be provided; that children should be able to look forward to a bright future and feel safe and free from harm in the community they live; and that research can help save and change children's lives.
We want to instigate real change for children in every country in which we work.

AMBITION, PASSION AND RELENTLESS DRIVE TO DO MORE ARE THE VALUES THAT LIE AT THE HEART OF THE RORY FOUNDATION. THEY ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO WILL BE INSTRUMENTAL IN OUR CAUSE AS WE GO FORWARD TO INSTIGATE REAL CHANGE FOR THE CHILDREN WE WORK WITH IN IRELAND AND ACROSS THE WORLD.
We are ambitious for life. Whatever the conditions of peoples lives, we believe in our ability to make things better. For us ambition is a unstoppable cycle of positive energy that turns caring into action and impact.
Passion lies at the heart of everything we do. We’re passionate about people, not issues and that’s what inspires us to create positive change for children and families that are driven by strategies based on logic and results.
We have a relentless drive to do more, we will never do anything half hearted. All of our energy, expertise, influence and the resource needed will go into every project or programme of change we are involved in.
